1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of CrewUp Scotland. By creating an account, accessing the platform, or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Use of the Platform

CrewUp Scotland connects crew members, production companies, location providers, studios, facilities and suppliers within the film and TV industry.

• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information
• You must not misuse the platform
• You are responsible for your account activity
• You must only use the platform for lawful purposes

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details. CrewUp Scotland is not liable for unauthorised access caused by your failure to secure your account.

We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts where we believe these Terms & Conditions have been breached.

4. Subscriptions, Payments & Automatic Renewal

Some account types on CrewUp Scotland are paid yearly subscription accounts. The subscription price will be shown clearly on the sign-up page before you create your account.

By selecting a paid account type and clicking Create Account, you agree to purchase a yearly subscription. Your subscription will automatically renew each year and yearly payments will continue to be taken until you cancel your subscription.

Unless you cancel before your renewal date, you authorise CrewUp Scotland and/or our payment provider to charge the applicable yearly subscription fee to your selected payment method.

Paid account types may include, but are not limited to:

• Construction Crew
• Locations
• Studios & Facilities

Production Company accounts are currently free. If you select a Production Company account, no yearly subscription or recurring payment applies unless you are clearly told otherwise and agree to paid terms in the future.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will stop future yearly renewal payments but will not automatically refund payments already made unless required by law or agreed by CrewUp Scotland.

When you cancel, your paid account access may continue until the end of the current paid billing period.

To cancel your subscription, please use the cancellation option provided in your account area, if available, or contact us using the details in the Contact section below.

6. Discounts, Offers & Coupon Codes

From time to time, CrewUp Scotland may offer discounts, promotional pricing or coupon codes. Any discount applies only according to the terms shown at the time of offer.

Unless stated otherwise, a discount may apply only to the first payment and future renewals may be charged at the standard yearly subscription price.

7. Job Listings & Applications

• Production users are responsible for the accuracy of job postings
• Crew users are responsible for the information in their profiles
• Location, studio and facility users are responsible for the accuracy of their listings
• We do not guarantee employment, hiring outcomes, enquiries, bookings, or production work

8. Content

By uploading content, including profiles, images, listings, job posts, company information or location details, you grant CrewUp Scotland the right to display and use this content within the platform for the purpose of operating and promoting the service.

You must not upload unlawful, offensive, misleading, defamatory, infringing, or inappropriate content.

9. Prohibited Use

• No fraudulent activity
• No harassment or abuse of other users
• No unauthorised advertising or spam
• No attempts to disrupt, damage, scrape, copy, or hack the platform
• No uploading content that infringes another person’s rights

10. Account Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms & Conditions, misuse the platform, provide false information, fail to pay subscription fees, or otherwise cause harm to CrewUp Scotland or its users.

11. Liability

CrewUp Scotland provides the platform "as is" and is not responsible for:

• Job outcomes or hiring decisions
• Interactions, agreements, or disputes between users
• Loss of data or service interruptions
• Any loss arising from inaccurate user-provided information
• Missed work opportunities, bookings, enquiries, or business losses

12. Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You should read the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use and store your personal information.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are made means you accept the updated Terms & Conditions.
